The tenor Zoltán Megyesi, born in 1975 in Szeged (Hungary), is a specialist in Baroque and classical oratorio and opera. He is a regular collaborator in oratorio performances throughout Europe. A member of the Hungarian State Opera House, his appearances in Mozart operas (Ferrando, Belmonte, Tamino, Don Ottavio) as well as in other tenor roles (Conte Almaviva, etc.) have been received enthusiastically by audiences and critics alike. In 2007 he made his debut with the Budapest Festival Orchestra in Ullmann's opera The Emperor of Atlantis.
