Géza Gábor - bass - guest artist

He has been playing the piano since the age of eight. In 1991 he was admitted to the Liszt Ferenc Music Academy faculty of singing, where he gains diploma as a  vocal and art teacher and opera singer.

His teachers were, Zsolt Bende, Dénes Gulyás, Balázs Kovalik, Adam Medveczky. Since 1999, he is the solois of the National Theatre but he performed in almost all the national theaters. His key roles are the followings:

Bluebeard, Philip King, Attila, Zechariah, Fiesco, Sarastro, Falstaff (Merry Wives of Windsor), Don Basilio, Leporello.

Besides the operas, he is often performing as a soloist in oratorios as well.  His repertoire covers a wide aspect from the baroque until today. In Szeged he has won the opera singer of the year title in several times.  In 2005, he received the Artisjus awards.
