For this concert, the audience can look forward to a genuinely diverse programme. First up will be one of Hadyn’s later, large-scale symphonies, before we also hear a trumpet concerto from one of Hungarian pop music’s most successful hit writers. In a spirit of reverence, the second half will see a performance of one of Hadyn’s utterly perfect masses. In addition to the presence of the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, a triumphant evening is further ensured by a superb Hungarian cast of singers and a world-famous Hungarian trumpet player and conductor.
