“Our common land is music” – the tour is to be continued

2012. 05. 21.

After our successful concerts in Kosice (Slovakia), Uzhhorod and Lviv (Ukraine), we are heading for Transylvania for our concert tour visiting six venues in Sibiu- Nagyszeben, Targu Mures- Marosvásárhely, Miercurea Ciuc-Csíkszereda, Sfântu Gheorghe-Sepsiszentgyörgy, Cluj-Napoca-Kolozsvár and Oradea-Nagyvárad.

Just like in our previous concerts in addition to Kodály’s Galánta dances and Bartók’s Concerto we will perform a piece from one of the famous composers of the hosting country, thus Enescu’s Romanian Rhapsody No 1 will be played.

The premiere of this work took place in Paris in 1908 under the baton of Pablo Casals and it made Enescu internationally known at once.
