Andrea Ulbrich completed her studies at the Liszt Academy under Éva Andor. She began her career at the Hungarian State Opera, before becoming a member of the Deutsche Oper am Rhein opera company in Düsseldorf. She has worked with an array of important conductors, including Riccardo Chailly, Michael Gielen, Jun Märkl, Pinchas Steinberg and Marcello Viotti.
