Szilvia Rálik - soprano - guest artist
She was born in Békéscsaba. She received her diploma from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, at the Singing Department, then she continued studying at the Liszt Ferenc Conservatory’s university faculty. She sang in Austria, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, France, and Denmark. In 2000 she was awarded with a first prize in her category at the József Simándy Singing Competition in Szeged. In the same year, she won the scholarship of the Budapest Opera Foundation. She debuted in the Hungarian State Opera in Budapest, in Wagner’s Siegfried. In 2001 she got admitted to the Studio of the Opera, at present she is a soloist of the Hungarian State Opera. She performed in operas by Mozart (The Magic Flute), Bellini (Norma), Tchaikovsky (The Queen of Spades), Verdi (Macbeth, Simone Boccanegra, Falstaff), and Szokolay (Blood Wedding). In the 2008 season she had huge success performing in Fidelio and Elektra.
