Zsófia Kálnay - mezzo - permanent guest conductor

The Hungarian mezzosoprano Zsófia Kálnay first appeared at the Szeged National Theatre in 2011. In 2012 she made her solo debut as the Voice in Bernstein's West Side Story and Bersi in Giordano's Andrea Chenier. In 2013 she won the 8th International József Simándy Singing Competition. She has been studying at the University of Szeged as Mária Temesi’s student and she is scheduled to graduate in in 2015. She often sings the alt solo in oratories.
