Zoltán Fejérvári - piano - permanent guest conductor

Born in 1986, Zoltán Fejérvári was a student at Budapest’s Béla Bartók Conservatory then he was admitted to the Franz Liszt Academy of Music to study with Dénes Várjon and András Kemenes. From 2006 to 2008, he continued his studies on a scholarship to the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía with Dmitri Bashkirov. He won first prize at International Competition for Piano and Orchestra Cantú and second prize at both the RNCM James Mottram International Piano Competition and the Ricard Viñes International Piano Competition in Spain. In 2012 he was invited to take part in the Professional Training Workshop of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute with András Schiff. He has taken part in several international music festivals. Mr. Fejérvári has collaborated with such celebrated musicians as Zoltán Kocsis, Iván Fischer, Gary Hoffman, Zakhar Bron, Frans Helmerson and Ivan Monighetti and given concerts with the Keller Quartet, Kodály Quartet, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Hungarian National Orchestra, Concerto Budapest Orchestra and Budapest Strings. He won the international award „Grand Prix du Disque” in 2013.
