“We are all individuals!... I’m not!”
I am proud to have earned university degrees in two completely different fields: as a software
engineer and as a teacher of vocal artists. In the last couple of years, music has become my sole
profession. As a solo singer, I perform on stage a couple of times a year. I have also sung minor and major roles at the Liszt Academy, the Erkel Theatre and the Opera House, but audiences have also seen or can see me at other venues, in solo recitals, in chamber productions, and as Sarastro, Leporello and Figaro.
I have sung in various choirs since childhood, and striving for high musical and vocal quality is my lifeblood. With decades of experience as a member of professional ensembles, I have been a member of the Hungarian National Choir since 2023. I believe that vocal music is a miracle of exceptional proportions; the singer’s personality is always strongly and inescapably present in their voice and, in the case of multiple performers, it represents a combination of these personalities; human connections that fundamentally shape each production. It is an unrepeatable, unique experience when, in a concert hall, the voices of nearly a hundred people merge to rise up into vocal tempest or an ethereal whisper that opens up the universe. As vocal artists, we become as one in the catharsis as we proudly say: we are all individuals.
