After our successful concerts in Kosice (Slovakia), Uzhhorod and Lviv (Ukraine), our orchestra spent 8 days touring in Transylvania giving concerts n six venues including Sibiu- Nagyszeben, Targu Mures- Marosv\u00e1s\u00e1rhely, Miercurea Ciuc-Cs\u00edkszereda, Sf\u00e2ntu Gheorghe-Sepsiszentgy\u00f6rgy, Cluj-Napoca-Kolozsv\u00e1r and Oradea-Nagyv\u00e1rad.<\/p>\n

The tour titled „Our common land is music” is to be continued in Szabadka, Serbia.<\/p>\n

Just like in our previous concerts in addition to Kod\u00e1ly’s Gal\u00e1nta dances and Bart\u00f3k’s Concerto we will perform a piece from one of the famous composers of the hosting country, thus Stevan Hristi\u0107: The Legend of Ohrid – Ballet Suite<\/strong> will be played.<\/p>\n

\nStevan Hristi\u0107<\/strong> (1885 – 1958), was the most popular Serbian composer,conductor, and pedagogue and pivotal in the development of Serbian art music of the first half of the 20th century.He is remembered best for his technically cultivated compositions in the Neoromanticist, and Romanticist-Impressionist styles.
