Mahler programot is rendelt a szimf\u00f3ni\u00e1hoz, amelyet azonban csak bar\u00e1taival osztott meg: az els\u0151, f\u00e9l\u00f3r\u00e1s t\u00e9tel, \u201eP\u00e1n \u00e9bred\u00e9se \u00e9s a ny\u00e1r meg\u00e9rkez\u00e9se\u201d, egy nagy vonalaiban Brahmst\u00f3l k\u00f6lcs\u00f6nz\u00f6tt, himnikus dallammal kezd\u0151dik, majd hatalmas, indul\u00f3-alapkarakter\u0171 t\u00e9telbe torkollik. Completed in 1896 and an hour and a half long, the symphony consists of six movements arranged in two parts.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nThe first movement takes up the entire first part, which is a kind of overture of symphonic proportions. The second part comprises the other five movements. Mahler defined the programme of the symphony as follows: the half-hour first movement is titled \u201cPan Awakes, Summer Marches In\u201d; the second, L\u00e4ndler-style movement, is about \u201cWhat the Flowers in the Meadow Tell Me\u201d; the third movement interrupts the folk-dance idyll and the post-horn signal evokes feelings of nostalgia; the fourth movement, \u201cWhat Man Tells Me\u201d, is a solemn, subtly lyrical movement for alto solo with a delicately orchestrated accompaniment, and is a setting of Nietsche\u2019s poem \u201cMidnight Song\u201d; \u201cWhat the Angels Tell Me\u201d (movement 5) is expressed with alternating chorale-like rigour and an expressive voice, with a refreshing bell imitation from the children\u2019s choir. Nemzetk\u00f6zi Marton \u00c9va \u00c9nekverseny nagyd\u00edj\u00e1t (Grand Prix).<\/p>\r\n <\/p>{:}{:en}Szilvia V\u00f6r\u00f6s is a soloist of the Hungarian State Opera, her roles have been so far: Fenena (Nabucco), High Priestess (Aida), Siebel (Faust), Bersi (Andrea Chenier), Suzuki (Madama Butterfly), Waltraute (Die Walk\u00fcre), Suora infermiera (Suor Angelica), 3rd Maid (Elektra). She was born into a family of musicians on 27th<\/sup> of April 1988. She completed her secondary education in P\u00e1pa, and, in 2008, while a pupil of Veronika Dobi-Kiss, won first prize in the 6th Simandy Hungarian National Singing Competition. In that year she began her studies at the Franz Liszt Music University, Budapest, as a pupil of \u00c9va Marton, where she finished the Opera course in 2013 and the Teaching course in 2014.\u00a0 As a soloist she has made several appearances at the Budapest Palace of Arts, in the Great Hall of the Music Academy and in a great many of churches. Abroad she has sung in Brussel in the Hungarian Cultural Institut and in the Royal Library of Belgium, in Dresden Schloss Albrechtsberg. In 2014 she sang 3rd <\/sup>dame in Mozart\u2019s Magic Flute, in a contemporery opera (Out at S.E.A \u2013 in role of Medium) in Budapest, Milan, Paris that has been ordered by P\u00e9ter E\u00f6tv\u00f6s Foundation and \u00a03rd<\/sup> Maid in Elektra by Richard Strauss. She has also sung frequently in oratorio - including pieces of Buxtehude, Pergolesi, Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Rossini, Bruckner and Arvo P\u00e4rt. She has worked on stage with Marco Armiliato, Patrick Fournillier, Maurizio Benini, and as a concert soloist with Carlo Montanaro, \u00c1d\u00e1m Fischer, Michael Schonwandt, Zolt\u00e1n Kocsis, Marco Comin.\u00a0 She has taken part in numerous master- classes including those with \u00c9va Marton, Nicholas Clapton and Andrea Mel\u00e1th, Francesco Torreggiani, Leonardo de Lisi, Alberto Gazale and Elena Lo Forte, Sylvia Sass.\r\n\r\nIn May 2011 she was awarded the Gundel Art Prize (opera singer category) and in 2012 the Junior Prima Prize. In September 2014 she won the Ist<\/sup> Eva Marton International Singing Competion\u2019s Grand Prix. In September 2015 she got a special prize in the Competizione dell\u2019Opera Singing Competition\u2019s final in Linz.\r\n\r\nIn 2016 she was able to participate the Young Singers Project in Salzburg.
