The church music of the future, wrote a young Ferenc Liszt, will \u2018unite \u2013 on a colossal scale \u2013 the Theatre and the Church, dramatic and sacred, superb and simple, fiery and free, stormy and calm, translucent and emotional.\u2019 After a 1938 performance of the Christus oratorio in the Budapest Opera House, a critic wrote: \u2018Liszt\u2019s soul knew no bounds \u2013 his passion for Christ was boundless. Which is why this oratorio turned out so honest, so entranced. P\u00e1rm\u00e1ban, az Arturo Toscanini versenyen (1994) \u00e9s Budapesten, Az MTV Nemzetk\u00f6zi Karmester Versenyen (1995) is 3. helyezett d\u00edjjal t\u00fcntett\u00e9k ki. 1993-t\u00f3l rendszeresen vez\u00e9nyli Magyarorsz\u00e1g vezet\u0151 szimfonikus zenekarait, \u00edgy a Nemzeti Filharmonikus Zenekart is. 1995 \u00e9s 1997 k\u00f6z\u00f6tt a Magyar R\u00e1di\u00f3 Ifj\u00fas\u00e1gi Zenekar\u00e1nak vezet\u0151je, 1997-t\u0151l: a Miskolci Nemzeti Sz\u00ednh\u00e1z operatagozat\u00e1nak alap\u00edt\u00f3ja \u00e9s zeneigazgat\u00f3ja,2001-t\u0151l: a \"Bart\u00f3k +\" Nemzetk\u00f6zi Operafesztiv\u00e1l alap\u00edt\u00f3 zeneigazgat\u00f3ja. 1997-t\u0151l: a Magyar \u00c1llami Operah\u00e1z vend\u00e9gkarmestere, 2001-t\u0151l karmestere. 2004-t\u0151l Budafest Ny\u00e1ri Nemzetk\u00f6zi Opera \u00e9s Balett Fesztiv\u00e1l m\u0171v\u00e9szeti igazgat\u00f3ja, 2005-t\u0151l 2012-ig a Szegedi Szabadt\u00e9ri J\u00e1t\u00e9kok m\u0171v\u00e9szeti igazgat\u00f3ja. 2005-t\u0151l 2006-ig a Magyar \u00c1llami Operah\u00e1z F\u0151zeneigazgat\u00f3ja. 2011 \u00f3ta \u00fajra a Bart\u00f3k Plusz Operafesztiv\u00e1l igazgat\u00f3ja. 2013-ban megalap\u00edtotta a Bart\u00f3k Plusz Opera\u00edr\u00f3 Versenyt. Sz\u00e1mos k\u00fclf\u00f6ldi orsz\u00e1gban vend\u00e9gszerepelt. 1999 \u00f3ta rendez\u00e9ssel is foglalkozik.2005-ben Liszt d\u00edjat, majd 2012-ben \u00c9rdemes m\u0171v\u00e9sz kit\u00fcntet\u00e9st kapott.
