Argentine world star at the Music Harvest<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jos\u00e9 Cura<\/strong>\u00a0is considered by many to be one of the greatest tenors of our time. His first opera performance was on the stage of Verona in 1992. Two years later he won the Operalia international singing competition, founded by Pl\u00e1cido Domingo. The young tenor has been hailed as the new star of the 1990s, with contract offers and a\u00a0wide international acclaim from audiences in Paris, London, Milan and New York<\/strong>. In 1997 he had a tremendous success in the role of his favourite composer,\u00a0Giuseppe Verdi’s Otello<\/strong>, which he has\u00a0sung in front of audiences<\/strong>\u00a0more than 200 times\u00a0<\/strong>during his career. “I pray to God that my artistic mission will bring peace to the souls who encounter my music”. His artistic credo has been the main driving force behind his art, that we\u2019ll also be able to experience on\u00a08 September at the opening concert of the Music Harvest festival at the Kod\u00e1ly Center.
