He earned his degree at the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, studying first in voice, music pedagogy and choral conducting courses, and afterwards in the conducting course led by Ervin Luk\u00e1cs and Tam\u00e1s\u00a0G\u00e1l. He also completed master classes with Johannes\u00a0Moesus, J\u00fcrgen\u00a0J\u00fcrgens\u00a0and Yuri Simonov. He has been active as a choir leader since the age of 22 and served for nearly 17 years as the choirmaster of the\u00a0Vasas\u00a0Ensemble Chorus. In 2002, he founded the Lajos Vass Chamber Choir, which he led until 2017. He has also worked as the music director of the Debrecen\u00a0Csokonai\u00a0Theatre and later of the National Theatre of\u00a0P\u00e9cs, as well as held the position of chief choirmaster of the Hungarian Radio Choir. He has appeared as a guest conductor with numerous Hungarian symphonic orchestras and professional choirs. Csaba\u00a0Somos\u00a0has also made international guest appearances, including the Salerno Philharmonic Orchestra in Italy and the Sakata Philharmonic Orchestra in Japan and\u00a0is frequently invited\u00a0to Spain, Italy, Russia, Romania, Greece, Macedonia, Austria, Germany and China both as a choral- and orchestra conductor.<\/p>\r\n

It was first performed in its current form at the Konzerthaus in Vienna on 12 January 1918 at a charity concert for war widows and orphans hosted by the Imperial and Royal Ministry of Defence.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\nLasting less than ten minutes, the work is a compilation of four new-style Hungarian folk songs and an instrumental dance melody, which Kod\u00e1ly had collected in the 1910s. \u00a0Hungarian Rondo<\/em> is Kod\u00e1ly\u2019s first work consisting of orchestral arrangements of folk songs that he had collected on his field trips. After his graduation from Kod\u00e1ly Zolt\u00e1n Secondary School of Music (solfeggio and music theory; church music) in 2002, he started his studies in the conservatoire of the University of Debrecen. He has been learning singing since the age of eighteen with dr. \u00c9va Mohos Nagy. He won the J\u00f3zsef Sim\u00e1ndy Memorial Singing Competition in Szeged in 2006, the Ferruccio Tagliavini International Singing Competition in 2007, and received a special award in the Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna a year later. He made his debut in the role of Melitone in La forza del destino in the Csokonai Theatre, Debrecen in 2005. In the next season he could be seen in the role of Sergeant Lescaut in Manon Lescaut and Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor.
