Nem tudjuk, hogy Beethovent\u0151l ered-e ez a hasonlat, de tal\u00e1l\u00f3an jellemzi a szomor\u00fa monol\u00f3got deklam\u00e1l\u00f3 zongorasz\u00f3lam \u00e9s a r\u00e1 eleinte indulatosabban, majd egyre szel\u00eddebben v\u00e1laszol\u00f3 zenekar p\u00e1rbesz\u00e9d\u00e9t. Concertos usually begin with a powerful orchestral introduction that exudes energy. In virtually all of the concertos of Mozart, Haydn and their contemporaries, the solo instrument only makes its entry after this first orchestral statement, by which time the orchestra has already stated the main material. In Beethoven's G major concerto, the piano begins with an infinitely simple passage that presents in a hushed confession, the principal motif. It creates the effect of the composition unfolding from the personal confession of the soloist. The orchestra then answers the pianist's phrase in a distant B major. Such tonal daring at the beginning of a work was not to be repeated again until Liszt's A major concerto, written fifty years later. The first movement continues in more traditional vain: we hear a sonata form bridging section and subsidiary and closing themes. Since the concerto began with a tender, pianissimo theme, on this occasion the secondary theme is of a more &quot;masculine&quot; character.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;The slow movement has encouraged some to interpret it in the light of the Orfeus myth. This association is not without foundation, since the piano solo pits extreme eloquence against strange unison replies from the orchestra, a depiction perhaps of the furies from another world being tamed by Orfeus's song.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&nbsp;The finale follows on attacca from the slow movement. Composed to the text of Franz Xaver Huber, the oratorio tells the beginning of Jesus&rsquo;s passion, his fear of death during the night spent in the Garden of Gethsemane and his capture. It consists of six main parts: <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. orchestral introduction and Jesus&rsquo;s monumental recitative and aria; <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. recitative and virtuoso coloratura soprano aria of Seraph (who only appears in the Gospel of Luke), which is joined by the choir;&nbsp; 3. recitative and duet of Jesus and Seraph; 4. Jesus&rsquo;s recitative and the soldier&rsquo;s march (chorus); <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">5. capture of Jesus (recitative and chorus); recitative and trio (Peter (bass), Jesus and Seraph), final chorus with tenor solo.<br>\nBeethoven&rsquo;s Christ is a dramatically conceived oratorio, highlighting Jesus&rsquo;s human nature, fears and emotional turmoil. Typically, the composer wrote Jesus&rsquo;s part for tenor solo, and the Saviour enters at the start of the work in a recitative and an aria almost like an operatic hero. Jesus&rsquo;s capture in the fifth part is depicted as a complex dramatic series of events, condensed in the music of the two choirs: the brute force of the soldiers and the paralysed, fearful disciples. The dramatic character is no accident, since Beethoven had in fact signed a contract with the Theater an der Wien for composing an opera. Because he was getting on slowly with this project, he instead composed an oratorio of a solitary, afflicted man, which many critics believe to be a preliminary to Fidelio. Under the guidance of his father, he started learning the piano at the age of four. He studied for a piano teaching and chamber music diploma at the Liszt Ferenc Music University (Budapest) under Prof. Annam\u00e1ria Krause Bodoky, graduating in 2001. His graduate studies were under the direction of Prof. Jand\u00f3 Jen\u0151; . Along with the standard piano repertoire, he plays works by neglected composers (such as Burghardt, Bentzon, Rodrigo and Tansman) and he also plays jazz music and his own transcriptions. Since 2002 she has been a member of the Budapest State Opera House. In 1997, she won 2nd prize at the Third Budapest International Singing Competition and in 1997, the special prize at the Italian Toti dal Monte competition before winning 1st prize and the special award at the 2000 Hungarian Radio Singing Competition. In 2003, she came second and won the special prize at the International Haydn Singing Competition. In 1999, she participated in Duna Television's series of opera tales from Cluj. The era marked by the name of J\u00e1nos Ferencsik and Kobayashi Ken-Ichiro was followed by a new chapter in the history of the orchestra when in 1997 Zolt\u00e1n Kocsis became general music director until his death. In almost two decades the National Philharmonic Orchestra underwent renewal. After the death of Zolt\u00e1n Kocsis, the Ferenc Liszt Award-winning Zsolt Hamar held the post of Musical Director at the Hungarian National Philharmonic from March 2017 to August 2020. He previously worked with the orchestra as its first permanent conductor and built up an impressive international career.\r\n\r\nThe Orchestra is one of the top interpreters of the work of B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k, and the albums of the <em>Bart\u00f3k New Series<\/em> have won numerous accolades in Hungary and abroad. The orchestra perform not only classics but also numerous other important works previously missing from the repertoire, many of which require a large orchestral apparatus. It attaches great importance to introducing contemporary Hungarian works to the audiences. It has given many popular chamber music concerts and hosted events for young people.\r\n\r\nThe orchestra\u2019s concerts have featured world-famous soloists and conductors. It supports young musicians recently embarked on an international career. In recent decades, the National Philharmonic Orchestra has appeared in the greatest venues and festivals around the world, including the Avery Fisher Hall in New York, the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Birmingham Symphony Hall, the Megaron in Athens, Bozar Centre in Brussels, the Enescu Festival in Bucharest, the Beethoven Festival in Bogot\u00e1, as well as the Colmar and Canary Island Festivals.
