Borb\u00e1la T\u00f3th-Kiss got her first taste of the stage singing with the Hungarian Radio Children’s Choir, and in the intervening years this is where she has developed her career as a singer. Over the course of her various instrumental and vocal studies and her education at master classes and art schools, she has worked with some of the key ensembles of our time, where she puts her heart and soul into her music, whether as a chorister (with the Hungarian National Choir) or as a voice teacher (with both the Hungarian National Choir and the Honv\u00e9d Male Choir). As a student of Judit V. Moln\u00e1r, Beatrix Fodor, Korn\u00e9lia Bakos, L\u00facia Megyesi Schwartz and Erika Markovics, she swiftly found herself involved in numerous outstanding productions of the Hungarian music world and also started making guest appearances abroad with increasing frequency, establishing herself as a highly versatile artist. The promising young coloratura mezzo-soprano has been taking part in an every growing number of noted productions both in Hungary and elsewhere.
\nIn addition, she has appeared as a soloist in the Hungarian National Philharmonic organisation, singing the role of Burkus in Mikl\u00f3s Csemiczky’s fairy-tale opera The Bremen Town Musicians, as well as in the Budapest Wagner Days festival, where she portrayed an apprentice in Die Meistersinger von N\u00fcrnberg. Furthermore, she took the stage as Snow White in a production of Moonrise Kingdom and as an alto soloist in Richard Strauss’s opera Friedenstag and in P\u00e9ter E\u00f6tv\u00f6s’s IMA.
