Csilla Kov\u00e1cs was born in 1993 and commenced her music studies at the B\u00e9k\u00e9scsaba Music School at the age of six. During her years there, she took part in numerous county, regional and national violin competitions, winning first, second and third prizes. For her high school studies, she continued her training at Budapest’s B\u00e9la Bart\u00f3k Conservatory of Music under violin teacher Erika T\u00f3th. In 2010, she took third place at the National High School Violin Competition. She then went on to graduate from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, where her professors were M\u00e1rta \u00c1brah\u00e1m and Zs\u00f3fia K\u00f6rnyei. In 2013, she took another third place, this time in the duo category of the Le\u00f3 Weiner National Chamber Music Competition.<\/p>\n
Over the years, she has been greatly influenced by many wonderful artists and teachers, including M\u00e1rta Guly\u00e1s, Attila Falvay, Kati Sebesty\u00e9n, G\u00e1bor Tak\u00e1cs-Nagy, K\u00e1roly F\u00e9legyh\u00e1zi and Bal\u00e1zs F\u00fclei.<\/p>\n

As a violinist, I feel it is important for music to address as many people as possible. When listening to or playing one masterpiece or another, I have often experienced the powerful emotions it instilled in me and the positive effect it had on my soul.
